Content plans that live where you write

Calendars, topics and drafts in Markdown, readable from whichever assistant you write with.

Who it’s for: Content teams, editors and solo writers keeping a regular publishing schedule.

The plan is always somewhere else

The calendar is in a spreadsheet, the topics in a document, the drafts in another tool. Writing with an assistant means copying all three in, every time.

Plan and drafts together

Keep the plan, the topic list and the drafts in one repository. The assistant can list what is planned for the month, then read the brief for a piece and the drafts already written around it.

The same plan in every client

Write in Claude one day and ChatGPT the next: each connects to the same repository with its own sign-in and reads the same files.

How to structure the repository

  • Keep the plan as a dated list in one file: date, title, owner, status. The assistant can then say what is planned and what is still missing a draft.
  • Write a brief per piece in its own file and keep the drafts next to it. The brief is the context the draft needs.
  • Put your style notes (tone, words to avoid, formatting) in one file the assistant reads before it writes.

Setting it up

  1. Step 1: Create a content repository and move the plan, topics and drafts into it as Markdown.

  2. Step 2: Assign the writers and editors.

  3. Step 3: Connect it to the assistants the team writes with, so everyone reads the same plan.
